Formed in 2000, Monster Theatre has toured across Canada, played at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre, won numerous awards including the illustrious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival Frankie Award for Best Comedy, and were featured in a one-hour TV special. For elementary schools, Monster Theatre presents Mini Masterpieces - three short adaptations of classic stories by famous writers.

Mini Masterpieces is a 45-minute presentation of three play adaptations aimed at different grade / reading levels. For the 2011/2012 school year, the plays will be Canadian Wonder Tales by Cyrus Macmillan, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court by Mark Twain, and Tales from the Arabian Nights. Each classic story lasts approximately 15 minutes.
