Formed in 2000, Monster Theatre has toured across Canada, played at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre, won numerous awards including the illustrious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival Frankie Award for Best Comedy, and were featured in a one-hour TV special. For elementary schools, Monster Theatre presents Monster Miniature Masterpieces - three short adaptations of classic stories by famous writers.

Miniature Masterpieces is a 45-minute presentation of three play adaptations aimed at different grade / reading levels. For the Spring of 2008, the plays will be Tales from Beatrix Potter (K-2), Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving (Gr.3-5) and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne(Gr.6-7). Each miniature play lasts approximately 15 minutes, and the ending may or may not be given away!
