With the divorce of his parents and the loss of his father, Aaron is unable to find a connection with the real world. He immerses himself in computer games and would rather play with the computer than with other people. He resents his mother and his situation. He feels angry at the world. Aaron finds an outlet in wreaking havoc in the garden of the old man. One day, Frederick, the old man, catches and confronts him. Aaron returns to the garden to fix it. This work leads him into a relationship with his neighbor, who once was a circus acrobat.
